You can find a comprehensive list at my Google Scholar. This list serves both as a backup and a minor commentary on what I ended up doing for some of these papers.
Works I led
-
Structural underpinnings of mutation rate variations in the human genome. Z Liu, MAH Samee. Nucleic Acids Research 51 (14), 7184-7197. This is a large part of my dissertation work as well.
-
Imputation approaches and quality standards for single-cell epigenetic age predictions. Z Liu, MAH Samee. bioRxiv, 571557. Unfortunately this project is stalled; happy to discuss more if you are interested though.
Works I was involved in
-
Plk1 inhibition enhances the efficacy of BET epigenetic reader blockade in castration-resistant prostate cancer. F Mao, J Li, Q Luo, R Wang, Y Kong, C Carlock, Z Liu, BD Elzey, X Liu. Molecular cancer therapeutics 17 (7), 1554-1565. My first undergrad publication; my involvement is rather minimal.
-
Pharmacologic inhibition of FGFR modulates the metastatic immune microenvironment and promotes response to immune checkpoint blockade. SS Akhand, Z Liu, SC Purdy, A Abdullah, H Lin, GM Cresswell, TL Ratliff, … Cancer immunology research 8 (12), 1542-1553. One of the two papers I worked on at Michael Wendt’s lab. I did a lot of molecular biology experiments for this one.
-
Fibroblast growth factor receptor facilitates recurrence of minimal residual disease following trastuzumab emtansine therapy. SS Akhand, H Chen, SC Purdy, Z Liu, JC Anderson, CD Willey, MK Wendt. npj Breast Cancer 7 (5). Similar to the previous one, although more people worked on this project.
-
Assigning pathogenicity for TAB2 variants using a novel scalable functional assay and expanding TAB2 disease spectrum. W Xu, A Graves, M Weisz-Hubshman, L Hegazy, C Magyar, Z Liu, … Human Molecular Genetics 32 (6), 959-970. I did some analyses for one of Lilei Zhang’s trainees.
-
Purine metabolism modulates leukemia stem cell maintenance in MLL-rearranged acute leukemia. X Shi, M Li, L Tan, Z Liu, Y Zhu, T Jonathan, … Blood 142 (Supplement 1), 582. One of the two works where I did bioinformatics analyses for one of Daisuke Nakada’s trainees.
